Recently many twitter employees left either through layoffs or quitting in response to Elon Musk asking for twitter employees to work hard.
Babylon Bee, which was suspended by twitter prior to Elon Musk purchasing twitter, made a parody video looking at twitter employees applying for a more typical job.
Basically the twitter employee is offended by every other statement and is confused about not receiving the typical benefits of twitter.
I am sure that part of the many Babylon Bee videos concerning twitter has to do with some residual feelings over there previous ban.
This parody video is interesting because it is so close to the truth. Twitter has become a place where people are offended by everything and anything. They are offended by the way you look, they are offended by your beliefs and they are offended by everything you say. I am not sure where this trend started but it is now firmly entrenched in our culture. We live in a world where people want to be offended and if there is no offense being taken then something must be done about that as well.
I am not sure how this trend got started but it is a horrible thing. We need to stop being offended so easily and we need to give people the benefit of the doubt. If someone says something that offends you then instead of immediately jumping down their throat why not ask them what they meant by what they said? Maybe there was some sort of misunderstanding or maybe they were joking around.
