Campus Reform’s Eduardo Neret went back to school to ask college kids what they thought about the Republicans’ efforts to fill the vacant seat in the Supreme Court left behind by Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Unsurprisingly, the students thought that the appointment should wait until after the election. Neret then reads them a quote from somebody who says that there is nothing stopping the president from being the president in his last year.
The students are unconvinced and still think Trump should wait until after the election.
When they are then informed that the line is from Ruthe Bader Ginsburg herself, they are visibly stunned.
“There’s nothing that says the president stops being the president in his last year.”
