There is a lot of lessons to be learned from watching police body cam videos which makes them very interesting. Occasionally, you might come across a video of an officer engaging in some wrong-doing or partaking in some shenanigans.

Mostly, however, you are going to see what a brutal and thankless job being a police officer is in modern times. You will see that, at any moment, a relatively calm scene can escalate into a life and death situation in the blink of an eye.

In this clip, an officer notices a suspicious vehicle with heavily tinted windows fail to stop at a stop sign. When the officer tried to pull the vehicle over, the suspect increased the speed and tried to elude the police.

For those of you who have not figured out the moral of the story yet, there are a few.

First of all, don’t do drugs and don’t drive drunk. It is understandable that everybody has their vices. Some people like to crack open a couple bears and it is legal in many states to partake in marijuana. However, if you are going to engage in these activities, be sure you are somewhere where your impaired actions are not going to hurt or kill somebody. This includes getting behind the wheel of a two-ton vehicle.

Secondly, don’t try to flee from the cops when they are trying to pull you over. It’s only going to make things worse for you. You are only going to add resisting arrest to your ever-growing list of alleged crimes.

Third, if they do catch up to you, don’t try running away on foot. Your chances of escaping are slim, and you are leaving behind a car for the police to use identify and track you down later at your home. All you are going to accomplish is getting tackled or tased in the buttocks.
